Professor Berthelsen works with organizations and professionals who want to understand what AI can actually do for them and how to start using it well. His consulting draws on the same applied AI expertise he brings to his Tulane courses: practical, current, and focused on real results rather than hype.
AI Workshops
Hands-on workshops for teams and organizations, tailored to participants' industries and experience levels. Workshops cover how AI actually works, the current tool landscape, what AI can and can’t do, best practices for getting useful results, and how to personalize AI tools for your specific work. These are described in more detail on the New Orleans AI Workshops page.
AI Coaching
One-on-one or small group coaching for professionals who want to go deeper with AI tools. This is for people who have started using AI but want to get significantly better at it, learning advanced techniques, building effective workflows, and understanding which tools to use for which tasks.
AI Strategy & Assessment
For organizations that need to understand where AI fits into what they do. This can range from a focused assessment of how AI might affect your industry or operations, to a broader strategy engagement that identifies the highest-value use cases and lays out a practical path to implementation. The goal is always a clear, honest picture. Not every organization needs to rush into AI, and knowing where not to invest is just as valuable.
Custom AI Solutions
Design and implementation of AI solutions built around your specific needs, things like custom AI assistants, system prompts, internal knowledge bases, and workflow automation. These are practical tools that make people’s work better, not science projects.
